We work with your group of teens for a week or a month to help them produce a film about their community. We run workshop style sessions that are great fun and give the teens hands-on experience in front of and behind the cameras. Anti Bullying Resource DVD Launched for National Anti-Bullying Week, a brand new anti bullying resource dvd for schools and colleges. order your copy now.
Actionwork has developed an anti-bullying strategy programmes that can not only help raise awareness of bullying and reduce it. It can also help foster and engender a positive, friendly and creative atmosphere within the school environment. These programmes can be run with individual schools or in conjunction with LEA's.
Actionwork has been working with the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) to produce a film called 'Making the Difference' tackling issues about bullying from a young person's perspective. It was launched at the National Film Theatre on the 23rd November 2005. All schools will get a free copy of the film on DVD. You can also see it online here

Getting a Police Check If you work with young people then it is good working practice to get a police check done on yourself, particularly if you are self employed. The forms can easily be obtained from any Police Station and cost about £10. There is also the more expensive Disclosure Service, which if you can afford it is a much more thorough option
